Ok folks, here we go..

Beans were received in the mail 7Nov, and soaked later that night in plain tap water (i'm on a well) with a spritz of h2o2, and put in the cupboard in shot glasses.
I popped 6 beans from each strain. All 18 threw tails within 24 hours, and were placed in wet paper towel in a plastic bag until I felt they were ready to be popped into solos, which ended up being another 30 hours tops.
Very impressive.

I then planted in straight coco with well water containing trace magnifical and velokelp (remo nutrients), at a ph of 6 & EC 0.9. I spray lightly with Humboldt County Labs Amino Biostimulant (twice a day when I spray my clones). I use the recommended concentration (30:1) at a ph of 6...

It is now 22:00 19Nov. The following shots were taken about an hour ago:

The sawdust/vermiculite-looking stuff is carrier for persimilis and also some thripex packs i opened up and sprinkled on the soil and around the area - because I care. :)
So rn we're basically 9 days from when these babies hit solos...they should time just about right to be ran in my next flower run, as my main room is day 7 tomorrow. Will give me plenty of time to sex these, and get them shaped up nicely for a good test run!

Really excited about the eyes pied shut and the shut eye for sure...
Keep watching for more updates (one or two a week minimum)

Take care and bless up!

Update time:

I have been able to start sexing some of the plants already. So far, I have found 4/6 of the Eyes Pied Shut to be male, 1 Shuteye male, 2 Shuteye females, and no signs of anything on the lemon eyes as of yet..All plants are still very healthy, and now receiving Remo Nutrients at 1.4/1.5 EC & 5.9-6.1 pH.

Extremely vigorous growth on the male. Can't get over it considering the age of these plants...

Time once again for the weekly update.

It is official across the board, and here are the numbers:

Eyes Pied Shut: 1 confirmed female, 5 confirmed male. Kind of gutted on this one. Was really hoping to have a bit of a selection of this strain to work through off this run. That's mother nature for you, lol. Not a total loss, the one female looks very healthy and well structured. I'll be sure to pop my remaining beans from the pack for the next run as well.

Lemon Eyes: 4 confirmed females, 2 confirmed males. Some stinky vegging plants. Can't wait to see this pairing.

Shuteye: A whopping 5 confirmed females out of 6 seeds. Only 1 male from the bunch. Crazy.

Here are some pics of the remaining females of each strain

Weekly update:

All are looking stellar and ready for a transplant. They will have to wait another 8-10 days, but after that, they will have lots of room to grow into.

Just a couple quick pictures this week - I'm busy af as of late...

Looking great Rosstafari!
I cant believe how big they are in those Solo cups!
Do you think they suffer from root constriction when they stay in such a small container so long?:)

I imagine at this point that they would benefit from a transplant, but so far, none are root bound (I check every couple days), and I do keep them well hydrated. Space in my veg room is somewhat of an issue atm (as it always is and will be when we are this close to a harvest/replant), so they must remain in the solos for another week or so. They will take off in no time when transplanted, and they don't seem to be suffering too much anyway. If they were, I would make the necessary provisions to transplant ahead of schedule.

Cheers!
